Plant trial on a high-silica low-grade fluorite ore
With grinding, flotation flowsheet, major equipment and operating practice essentially unchanged, the collector scheme was switched from conventional oleic acid to HBYS-1 fluorite collector and continuous plant indicators were tracked.
Trial Background
Evaluating plant response through shift-by-shift data
The feed was dominated by SiO2 and CaF2, with high silica content and low CaF2 grade. The plant operated a flowsheet of one roughing stage, six cleaning stages and four scavenging stages. The comparison base used six shifts over three days under conventional oleic acid; the HBYS-1 period tracked twelve continuous shifts.
